Rotokare 'Special Reserve' Honey

380g - limited edition batch honey | $20 plus post

Our latest fundraiser is great on toast! All the goodness of small-batch honey production and this unique community story is yours to enjoy. This unique blend of nectars spun out of local manuka, kamahi, rewarewa, and rata among other glorious natives, high up on the ridge tops of the Rotokare Sanctuary, represent our rich and diverse native flora delivers a great tasting smooth and creamy honey.

We thank Mike from Bees and Trees Native Honey for seeing the potential for honey made from all the goodness at Rotokare, and for all the expertise and hard work he put into this project. Special thanks to the Eltham Lions Club who arranged for Beck Helicopters to deliver the beehives up into the prime bee country.
